Gill qualified and practised as a Social Worker for many years before her role as Project Manager, which began in 2001 when the Gap Project was registered as a charity. She has loved seeing the project develop from a nucleus of a few activities to the diverse and wide ranging service it is today.
Volunteer & Service Development
Kate first starting working for the Gap Project as a volunteer fund raiser and then began full-time employment as the Volunteer and Service Development Co-ordinator in July 2014. She has a background working in voluntary sector management and enjoys working with people, facilitating groups and developing services.
Peter has been the bookkeeper for the Gap Project since January 2015 and has worked in Finance for over 25 years. Peter works two days a week on Thursday and Friday.
Ella oversees and manages youth services, developing current groups and activities, incorporating workshops, events and residentials. She has introduced mentoring as a vehicle to help young people to make positive steps forward by generating aims and working towards them e.g. relationships, school life, behaviour, employment, identity, self esteem.
